Zion’s Kapa Haka/Polyclub Learning Story
The leadership of a young man
No matter what cultural dances you are in, you will always leave a place that someone will take. It's like you are a legend
My strengths in kapa haka are using my powerful voice to lead a haka or to make sure people are at the same level in volume. My voice encourages other people to join when I sing or to make the boys hyped. I think I am a fast learner when it comes to learning actions. I am able to remember the actions and teach whoever has been away.
The key competency I use really well is relating to others because I am able to use this key competency when I am teaching others the actions
I learned that the more I commit to kapa haka or other dances the more opportunities I have to be a leader or an inspiration.
My goal in kapa haka is to leave a legacy that people will think that I am an inspirer and I will be looked up at and they will want to be like me

Jae’s Feedback
Zion is good at being loud and proud so other people can be as loud as him. Zion needs to work on believing what he can do because he does not believe that he can do stuff.
