                                      MATH AT CORINNA

Educational learning at Corinna School is unique by the way they do maths. Maths at Corinna school is unique because we always start by sharing what the problem about to give us prompts which is like a headstart and you get to solve the problem with your own ideas so other people can understand and use it in the future During difficult problems, I learn well in a group because I can with anyone so they know what I mean or I can get to know them more. 

                                                BLOG’S

Another unique topic at Corinna School is doing multiple learning stories and putting them on blogger. I am mostly good at trying to give more information about the events that happened in the past It is a good topic because you can improve later on. I always work with a good buddy that can give me prompts so I can finish.

To be honest thinking of finishing and it makes sense and not think of having choices.

     CULTURAL DANCES

I have been in several cultural dances like kapa haka, Poly club and more. Starting with kapa haka: I am a leader and I lead 3 Haka’s which is a pain in my throat. I am obviously good at using my powerful voice to let the audience feel the energy we are doing. Poly club: Poly club is for kids from different places (from the islands) and anyone can do it.

To me it is a good opportunity to learn other people's culture in dance.

ACHIEVEMENTS                                               

An achievement I have crushed is becoming a leader in kapa haka which makes me feel proud of who I am. Another Achievement I  have crushed is being in a lot of jobs to help my school look clean and feel safe. I hear positive words and actions by being a librarian, putting out the benches and bringing them in. I feel good about keeping my school safe clean and positive. This is what I’m gonna do but are you?

KEY COMPETENCIES (KCs)

Key competencies I use the most is participating and contributing because I have joined in multiple events like a violin, sports, kapa haka, Poly club, Wanganui Trip and concerts or subjects and attendance because I got 90% or over attendance

Key competencies I need to work on self-managing because I sit next to the people that won't get me what I want and need.

NEXT STEPS

My next steps are to treat people the way they are supposed to be treated or the way I want to be treated as visitors and family.

LEARNING FAVOURITE                  

The learning I like the most is mostly everything because it will help me in the future and I can develop my future job If I have difficulties.  

The learning I dislike is silent reading because sometimes people talk too much and I get distracted and I can’t get into a world of imagination.

NEXT YEAR’S ACHIEVEMENTS                                       

Next year I want to achieve is a leader at everything and being known as a positive friend.
